I work on a lot of different things. Here are some that I care about this week:
Capsule Software. A mobile software developer, specialising in iOS apps for iPhone and iPad. Our first app, a puzzle game for young children, is now available in the App Store.
Buzzumi. A distance learning provider mediated through Facebook, with heavily integrated video chat and shared scheduling systems.
White Box Boutique. A web store built on a just-in-time integration with an existing clothing wholesaler.
Kryptonite. An Internet access provider designed to run more like a modern web service, rather than the absurdly customer-hostile 19th century greengrocer model we use today.
The Brick. A storage and compute virtualisation platform, with substantial deployment automation and networking best practice baked in.
Archive Team. A distributed preservation of service attack which rescues human effort from bad business models and malicious management.
Auckland City Mission. Annual fundraising for the Mission usually involves some sort of technological stunt. This year's effort is still in development, but you can read about what we did last year.
Megadealblaster. A daily deals site where you can buy discounted shares in other failed daily deal sites. Yes, this is a joke.
